  • Is there a free trial?
    We don't currently offer a free trial. We do, however, have 4 free classes available in the online studio, if you'd like to get a feel for our teaching style. If you want to get a taste of the platform and the online community, you can sign up for the Monthly Membership for $29. If you decide not to continue, simply cancel your membership before your next payment is due. You'll have access for the whole month that you have paid for.
  • Is there a lock in contract for the monthly membership?
    No, you can cancel anytime online.
  • When will I be charged?
    With the monthly membership, you will be charged on the same day every month. For example, if you purchased a membership on the 10th of the month, you will be charged on the 10th of every month (unless it falls on a weekend, in which case it may be a few days later). With the yearly membership, you will be charged on the same day each year.
  • How do I navigate the studio?
    Once logged in, you’ll be taken to your Dashboard. Click on the membership you have (Monthly, Yearly or a particular series), and you’ll then be able to see all the classes in the library. You can use the filters to narrow down your search, eg. 20 min or less classes, restorative classes, accessibility options.
  • Is there an app? Can I practice from my phone or tablet?
    There is not an app, but it is mobile friendly, and you can bookmark the studio like an app on your iPhone or Android phone. Here's how: Go to Always Yoga Online Studio You may get a pop up with instructions. If so, follow them! If not, see next steps. On iPhone, click on the square with the up arrow at the bottom centre of your screen. For Android, click on the three dots on the top right of your screen. Scroll down and select 'Add to Home Screen', and then type in 'Always Yoga' (or whatever you would like to call it! Click add. It should now be an app icon on your phone or tablet, which will take you directly to the studio!
  • Do I need props?
    We recommend a yoga or exercise mat. All other props are optional, and can be substituted for items you may have at home. Some props we recommend (and substitutes) are: Block Substitute: cans of food, sturdy drink bottle, hard cover book Bolster Substitute: a couple of pillows or cushions, rolled up blanket Blanket Substitute: towel Strap Substitute: belt, dressing gown cord
  • Do I need experience?
    No, we cater to everybody, from beginners to more experienced practitioners. We also have a library of tutorials, where we break down poses and common transitions you might come across in a class. If you have a tutorial request, please let us know!
  • Are there accessible classes?
    Yes! You can filter classes by the following accessibility options: chair, standing only, floor-based, knee free, and wrist free.
  • What's in the Facebook group?
    We have a private Facebook group for the Always Yoga community. It is a safe space to ask questions to your teachers, share your experience, and to connect with other members. We'll often check in with you here, keep each other accountable by sharing our wins and challenges, and post any important info in here for you all, as well! If you don't have Facebook, don't worry - we'll also send out any important information as an email as well.
  • Can I pause my membership?
    Yes, you can pause your membership for any reason. Send us an email here and we can pause it for you. Please allow 48 hours notice.
  • How do I cancel my membership?
    You can cancel your membership anytime online. 1. After logging in, click on your name on the top right corner then select "My settings". 2. Scroll down and click on Cancel next the subscription you'd like to cancel. 3. Confirm the cancelation by clicking "Cancel subscription" in the pop-up window. We'll miss you! You can re-join anytime you like.
  • Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
    All purchases are non-refundable. Monthly memberships can be cancelled anytime, and you will have access to the online studio until your next payment would be due. Please see question above for instructions to cancel. The yearly membership is non-refundable. If you have extenuating circumstances, you are welcome to email us at helloalwaysyoga@gmail.com to discuss your options.
